FRAME LIFE Magazine 1st place award:
"The Earth is 4.6 billion years old. Let's scale that to 46 years. We Humans have been on this earth for only 4 hours. Our industrial revolution began one minute ago. In that time, we have destroyed more than 50% of the world's forests".
Man's utter disregard of the preservation of nature is alarming and the future looks gloomy. As part of a photography competition with the theme of "Documenting Urban Life in Beirut", I had concentrated my efforts on Daliyeh, one of the last remaining public spaces in Beirut that is being destroyed as we speak to make room for a commercial project.
